This might work for you. 

Screen type will clog up over time.

My buddy had a SA insert on his ‘17 KTM 300. It clogged after about a year. Started running like crap. He pulled it off and cooked it with a gas torch. Good as new.

Had a buddy run a screen type end cap on a 12 300.   Plugged up and he chased jetting for a day + before figuring it out.  Imho, worth it spend the extra for a turbine.

If you use a screen type, just clean it every ride, then you will have no issues.  Or buy 2 and clean both every other ride.  Screens are nice because a clean screen has little to no effect on performance and jetting.  Most turbine mufflers have to use a larger core to combat the increased back pressure.

I personally would not use a screen type SA on a 2-stroke.  The turbine type (Krizman) are very long-lasting and efficient.
