What are warning points?

Warning points are like tickets handed out by the site mods should you violate the site rules or conduct yourself in an otherwise undesirable manner. The more egregious the behavior, the greater the number of warning points awarded and the longer it takes for them to expire.  But, if you get too many, mostly in a shorter period of time, the cumulative total can temporarily lock you account, or in extreme cases, result in a permanent ban.  But, someone has to work really hard to find themselves in that position.  What you see in your profile, only you and the site moderators can see if you have any points and why.

Site rules are in the footer always:

What are warning points? I checked my profile and it says zero warning points. What are they and what do they do?

When you are dink to others on the site, use swear words, etc, you get waring points... Enough warning points and you get a little time out from TT...
