Yes but the problem is we're the ones empowering the nanny state by electing them.  Our population as a majority is asking for this behavior.

yep...not my world anymore. US Boomers are wealthy...the kids want socialism and a nanny state...they're effing themselves over...oh well...every wealthy country in history has declined. The UK appears to have been declining into socialism faster than the US.

My son worked with a guy from Iraq who would go on and on about how much more freedom you had there compared to the US.  Then the disclaimer, except for the bombs going off everywhere in Iraq.  But it's eye opening when someone from a dictatorship controlled with Sharia law finds it less restrictive than the US.

Women are considered equal in the eyes of the law here.  Probably feels really restrictive in that sense.

I don't agree what so ever ,we are going into  full independence from the EU

How much further away from socialism is actually possible than that ?

We've never been a part of the EU, so we must be further away from socialism than the UK, right?

Not really , you are moving goal posts

It was stated we are going more one way ,the facts say unlikely

Which direction you are going is nothing to do with the UK or the EU

that sounds like bull crap...do they allow drinking? smoking? pot? strip clubs? porn?

I guess strip clubs are no longer allowed in the US...or bars now, either. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Maybe, he has a point...some places in the US have curfews and eating and drinking indoors is also illegal in some cities...or getting groomed...some are being sent to jail for opening businesses.

Sounds like you agree then, that women in the US have it much better than women in Iraq?

Certainly by my standards which don't involve the metaphysical.  I can't attest to the actual happiness of Karen in Orange County vs Abdul's punching bag in the middle east.

Cameras only banned in amateur AMA racing.

Hmm, how did we all miss that?

I wonder how that affects an "amateur" event that has Pro classes?

Watched a video from Bennett's, where they did a fun test with these glasses that record where our eyes look. Would be fun to see that technology built into a helmet.  My eyes would never leave the Monster Girls, unless Christian Craig's wife walked by.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1kddCTu86M

Been thinking about this helmet thing.  It may turn out to be a positive (stupid arsed way to get there).

Klim + Garmin = ADV helmets with InReach built in, that sends an SOS based on vital signs picked up from the scalp.  So wives can collect on the life insurance quicker.

Troy Lee, 6D, Fox, etc. + Apple & Cardo = Street, ADV & Dirt helmets with built in Smartphone technology

Aria, Shoei, + Samsung/Sony = street, ADV and dirt helmets with built in smart phone technology

Hands free riding isn't just for the Nitro Circus anymore.

I'm convinced the 6D technology is best for helmets.  They are really effing expensive, I bought both my kids one and myself, and I'm a tight wad.  This was taking away beer money for me!  I don't think MIPS is the solution.  Regardless, the Monster girls could change my mind 🙂  I have several pictures of my son with them when he flagged for a Pro race.  If I recall correctly this is right AFTER the chest mounted video footage I posted on about page 2 that resulted in 2 plates, 5 screws, and 3 months in a wheel chair for him just before his wedding.  I was 5 feet behind him when it happened and had to block traffic on the jump takeoff for what seemed like an eternity afterwards to prevent further wreckage.  I had no idea what happened to him, it actually wrecked me for a long time too.  So wear good safety gear, buy a 6D, and eff the AMA, and ALWAYS hand out with the Monster girls.
