3 Supercross races in FL...Holee Sheet

I went to one Supercross race at Glendale...I'll never do another.

It was just too annoying for us...since we were not as drunk or as loud as everyone around us...🤷🏻‍♂️👎

The view of the race is better on TV if you are not there to get drunk...and it took an hour to get out of the parking lot...after having a bad time.

I went with my kids and youngest son's wife.  They spent a small fortune getting drunk, I was the dd.  Noisy and not a lot of fun.  And the before race stuff is packed and just plain annoying.  Even after having morphed into a bro I didn't really enjoy it. 🤣

I don't ever recall a drunk rowdy crowd at SX, not like football.  But every crowd is different.

My wife bought us tickets for Toby Keith in Vegas. Image how that went. Some drunk dude fell a couple of rows up on my wife and son and she yelled "don't! don't!" as a cocked back to pop the guy in the mouth. None of my SX experienes have been even close to that drunk country boy fest.

its a crap shoot to go out in public...you may be surrounded by respectful people...or you may pay hundreds of dollars to be surrounded by screaming drunks for hours....its the luck of the draw...

BOAB,

when I took a young SW dev to site (NM) while driving on I-10 out from El Paso, I said what ya thinking about Thomas?

He said "ya gotta love Tan to live out here"!!!!

Gosh, I've never had a bad time at Daytona ever!!! Its usually way cool because a hell of a lot of "foreigners" come to that and its great to speak with them and get their take on MX/SX where they live. Now for sitting on a asphalt track in 95 deg. weather is a PITA though.

BB,

Reminds me of the first Arena football game I went too with X. Predators scored TD and guy (drunk) behind me gets up and dumps beer all over me. Was just about to neck roll the ass but the X new and grabbed me with her best bear hug.

I wish they would bring SX to one of the stadiums/arena's in Milwaukee. I have access to the founders suites in most of them. They have rails and a ceiling above the bleacher seats to protect from falling drunks and beer.

You can thank The Peoples Republik of Kalifornication AND the newly created Arizona Kommunist Party for your Extra SX Races this year

The good people in this state don't deserve to be lumped in with all of those libtards.

There are a good 6 million exceptional people stuck in California, due to work, family, community involvement, etc.. A lot of those people ride/race, hunt, fish...

6 million people is larger than the population of a lot of states.  So please don't lump the other 33 million socialist cock suckers in with the good folks, who fight a hard fight for morals, courtesy and freedom.  It's like rubbing salt in a very sore wound.  Those six million fighting for a better California are just like you and me.  Maybe if more good people would move there, the liberal asswipes would need to move out.   I've lived in California in conservative communities, and it can be a beautiful place.  Just need real American values to spread like the wild fires have.

On a side note, I just learned the "legal" population of California is decreasing, according to the latest sensus.  Pretty soon California will be part of another country anyway, then we can nuke it, and get it back.

^^^^^THIS^^^^^  is spot on, Thank you!!

You get what you vote for.  The difference between a free state and a communist state.  Don't feel sorry for them at all.

Do you think that everyone in this state is a f**king libtard?  I, nor anyone in my family, voted for this lunacy.  We must suffer the consequences of the San Diego, LA and San Francisco voting bases.

Yeah I would move.  No matter what it took, I would move....simply not worth it.   Americans sitting there in their little comfort zones and taking the crap is how we got here in the first place.

My wife's parents are in their late 70's and my FIL is in poor health.  She is very close to her parents and there is no way I would ask her to leave her folks.  We are however, looking out of state for a "Vacation" place and if we can work that out I'll be spending a lot of time there!!

Good luck man, I feel for you and your family.  The place drives me nuts and I'm not even near it.  Gonna be some interesting times ahead.   The great power grab was a huge success and America rolled over like a puppy getting it's belly rubbed.

Thanks!!  Geographically it is a wonderful place but that is where the wonderful ends.  When my dad's company transferred him here in 1966 and up until just several years ago, it wasn't that bad.  Things happened quickly and it is in a death spiral now.  That said, our focus is on making sure we take care of ourselves and our family members.  The rest of this shithole can KMA.  lol

Its a spoof of the notallmen hashtag from the meetoo.

No tall men? Wtf does being tall have to do with sexual assault? Its not our fault we can see down most women's shirts from up here.

I always wanted to go to Commiefornia for a ride vacation, it was a goal for a long time. Now?...I couldn't bring myself to spend a penny in that state. I truly feel sorry for the sane people stuck there.

I've only ever been to Minneapolis, Indianapolis and the Monster thing in Vegas but same thing...all were a great experience. You do see way more on TV, but it's still a great experience IMO. Like everything, TV does not do justice to the speed or the size of the jumps they are doing. One thing that struck me most  seeing it in person was how short of a run they have at some of the jumps. I could have rode the track 100 laps and never thought of jumping some of the rhythms they do.

Most exciting SX I ever saw was Hannah on a Honda in the Kingdome.  Tracks were rougher, more national champions were on the track that all thought they could win, and lets face it the bikes didn't exactly handle the obstacles as well so there was certainly an added factor.  I think outdoors still has a lot of the appeal of the old days, some days we see great racing by great riders on gnarly tracks, but SX is getting more like Nastycar IMO.  I still watch it, I still enjoy it, but I have a much better idea of how the race is going to turn out these days.
