Yeah I would move.  No matter what it took, I would move....simply not worth it.   Americans sitting there in their little comfort zones and taking the crap is how we got here in the first place.

Lol, lots of worse places, about 45 other states.

I went with my kids and youngest son's wife.  They spent a small fortune getting drunk, I was the dd.  Noisy and not a lot of fun.  And the before race stuff is packed and just plain annoying.  Even after having morphed into a bro I didn't really enjoy it. 🤣

The outdoors nationals are where it's at. Eff that stadium stuff. Supercross is like seeing Limp Bizkit, Outdoor is like a Dead show.

Actually not true. 17 states joined Texas in the lawsuit. Research it. America is done

LOL.  The courts will punt the lawsuits, big deal.  Dumb lawsuits get filed everyday in this country, this isn't a special case.

@MotorBoatin says Toronto is really fun, if you're looking for a new home.

Same...That would have been the first track, and that Vet National would be when I'd want to go. It's just not going to happen though. The FL Winter O's is the new dream trip. I despise riding sand, but Gainesville looks really nice!

I passed up a free ride down there in the past to race.  I think they just wanted to bring me along and give me shit about my 2-stroke.  I never raced my 4T, and all my friends call my 2Ts vintage bikes.

There are a good 6 million exceptional people stuck in California, due to work, family, community involvement, etc.. A lot of those people ride/race, hunt, fish...

6 million people is larger than the population of a lot of states.  So please don't lump the other 33 million socialist cock suckers in with the good folks, who fight a hard fight for morals, courtesy and freedom.  It's like rubbing salt in a very sore wound.  Those six million fighting for a better California are just like you and me.  Maybe if more good people would move there, the liberal asswipes would need to move out.   I've lived in California in conservative communities, and it can be a beautiful place.  Just need real American values to spread like the wild fires have.

On a side note, I just learned the "legal" population of California is decreasing, according to the latest sensus.  Pretty soon California will be part of another country anyway, then we can nuke it, and get it back.

This is the best post I have seen here in a very long time.

Thanks!!  Geographically it is a wonderful place but that is where the wonderful ends.  When my dad's company transferred him here in 1966 and up until just several years ago, it wasn't that bad.  Things happened quickly and it is in a death spiral now.  That said, our focus is on making sure we take care of ourselves and our family members.  The rest of this shithole can KMA.  lol

Cali has its problems but so does every other place and believe me there is a lot worse. I have lived in lot of places in this country and there are a lot of shitholes that I wouldn't go back to.

I would still go back to Cali if the job paid right, other places the pay wouldn't be worth it.  I would rather live in the damaged 2020s in Cali then go some hellhole still living in the damaged 1980s.

You couldn't pay me enough to go to Cali.  Then again, I want the hell out of Washington too.

Couldn't agree more. Beautiful weather etc. but, it seriously seems like a different country rather than a different state...So does WA, OR and NY. When I see/hear what goes on there, I just cringe for the sane people that live there and have to deal with the complete insanity of their state governments. That is our future though. We no longer have anything remotely legitimate with out elections in this country. We're no better than Venezuela as far as election integrity. Sad but true.

My wife's parents are in their late 70's and my FIL is in poor health.  She is very close to her parents and there is no way I would ask her to leave her folks.  We are however, looking out of state for a "Vacation" place and if we can work that out I'll be spending a lot of time there!!

So you made a CHOICE.

Enough of the bullshit that you are trapped there.

Uhh, OR is nothing like CA on the statewide level. You can ride 2 strokes year round, theres no CARB, there's no emissions testing for vehicles outside of Portland, there's hardly any police in Oregon, there's 4 million people not 40 million people, Oregon has no sales tax, Oregon has open carry, all counties in Oregon are Shall Issue concealed carry, there are almost no minorities here. I have no desire to live in CA for those reasons, but mostly it creeps me out to have to stop at the border and unload my revolver and lock it in my glove box. The physical act of acknowledging that I'm entering a place where only criminals can carry a firearm is distressing and always hard for me to wrap my head around because it's so backwards.

He's lived in 2 liberal Meccas, so he just assumes the rest of the US has similar problems.
