Roger took Ian and 3 other techs that helped develop that bike. The only person that stayed was Goose because Dungey asked him to or he would’ve gone to. 
 

 You’re right, the data I’m talking about wasn’t in Rogers head, it was developed by the guys Roger took with him. Roger also took the guys who did the engines at the shop, Goose was rebuilding motors in the parking lots of hotels all year.
