ckny Posted January 3 11 hours ago, Tye Durden said: This is completely idiotic on the part of the team. There should be a social media / media person that is running accounts on multiple platforms and posting professionally produced content on all platforms for the team, with access to the team riders SM accounts. You can even get away with just some one that is SM savvy and having team resources take random vids and pics. That is more of a team fail than a rider fail, though as a rider if it means getting a pay cut it is a rider fail to not push and enable the team to do it for him. #fail #fail. I know some top riders, they all do their own social media. One of them hired someone to help with it but they were lazy as shit and didn’t do anything. One of the guys I know is always on his phone posting if he is not riding, eating or sleeping. He has 1 million insta followers.

Walker has a horrible history of promoting his sponsor on social media. Go look at Billy, Manni, Graham, Pol,etc. They are posting multiple times a day. No I don't mean that at all , I mean without personality of the rider it's not social media , it's a fan page People want to know the person ,not the place they finished , we can find that easily

I'm not saying that I like it, or that it's good, or anything of the sort. I share your sentiments, but 20-somethings today grew up in the social media age, and they care, unfortunately. Before I decided not to work my previous employment it was illegal (fed job)to have your mobile on while on duty. Not only would you get fired, but charges could be brought if there was a critical incident. Phones stay in the truck. Carry on. Because he is huge on social media and Rock Star loves it. For a factory team, if we are eluding to Tomac, it sure is. Their job is to win races and do what ever else it takes to sell more bikes. If the manufacturer hasn't made that explicitly clear to the team, or they don't care then #fail #3.

Reminds me of when Marshawn Lynch didn't want to do interviews. Seahawks forced him to, but it didn't mean he had to say anything insightful.

mxaniac My Rides (8) Posted January 4 So who is the most marketable name in SX? I see ET3 all over the windows of mini-marts. Roczen? Webb? Anderson? AC? I'm guessing Tomac.
