Beta announces MXGP Team

No, they absolutely cannot.  It's not just fork height and sag.  Weight bias in the frame, rider ergos, rake trail and offset, and even frame rigidity in different planes all come in to account.  Maico, Honda, and Suzuki are the only bikes I know of the have this turning trait in common.  MXA even tried modifying a YZ450 frame to reposition the engine years ago to get rid of the push.

I get that some people find the CR/RM twitchy, they must have much different tracks with higher speeds because I just don't get that with the tracks I ride.

I’ve recently gone back to an 02 cr250 after a heap of newer bikes.
I I move the thing, it handles and turns so good and the power is smooth and abrupt like the yz.

It makes you want to push the bike harder not the bike pushing you around

The Honda's I have ridden are not anything special in turning ,even my rmz wasn't lol

Hondas haven't been great turners since the switch to aluminum frames

Yes.  But what I was thinking was, there might be people that never found the sweet spot with a certain bike, and they think it doesn't handle well because they never dialed it in.  Not saying any of you fit that obviously.

yes I believe this is so in far too many cases.

AND for many it needs to start with simply adjusting sag. Not just measuring it but actually starting at some setting, then going up and down a few mm and ridding it. Go by feel. Its a revelation to most when they realize they have been ridding their bike for so long outside its best sag setting.

just a couple mm can upset most bikes AND simply measuring it can easily give a couple mm of error. Best to set, then ride and change and ride and change. FEEL what it does . Then u will know

pain in the ass without a quick adjust preload like X trig

Yeah I got an Xtrig for my KTM for that reason, I'm gonna be doing like you said.  Sag measurements, even when standing, swing by a few mm.  I don't really trust them other than getting inside a certain window.

From there it has to be turn the adjuster, laps, turn the adjuster, laps, etc.

We here on TT Pro wander. We wander like a Yamaha in a corner if you will. It's kinda what we do.

OK whatever, just keep it here so the whole place doesn't get infected. Seems like that is counterproductive to this site.

Infections spread, and I have no control over that!

The frame is unchanged from the RR/RE models.

Identical geometry?  Even clamp offset?  Hmm.

At least the RX300, no one knows anything about the MXGP effort details, although it is a private team that will likely have freedom.

So far, Beta's only official MX model is a 300 2T?  Confused.

Same confusion. Makes no sense to me.

No confusion, try to keep up. Beta has a MXGP team, but no production 4t model MX'er. Maybe next year a 450 class bike, but a 250 4t is years away.
