John Brooks Posted Tuesday at 03:02 AM I’ve been out of the dual sport world for about 12 years. I started with a 1991 XR250L, went to quads for a bit, then a 1996 KTM 620 RXC (awesome bike), then a 2002 DRZ 400s (best fit for the Jersey pine lands) and now a 2019 CRF450L. Just bought it tonight, getting fluids changed and bring her home on Saturday. She’s basically stock with the addition of some bark busters and some Michelin AC10 tires. Only has about 1,000 miles and I’m happy to be getting back in the dirt at 49 years old. Lucky to have a great wife that said “Keep the Harley” too.

MVI My Rides (3) Posted Tuesday at 03:38 AM First off congrats Run $500 of gas thru it before you attack the motor. Seat, Ergo and protection are good add on's for you and the bike.
SVORon Posted Wednesday at 03:55 PM Congrats. It’s a phenomenal bike from an engineering standpoint. No other enduro comes close in that respect. Every single detail has been thought out (why it’s as heavy as it is). I’m a motocross guy (thought I do have many street bikes, too) and coming off a YZ 250 two-stroke, this bike still feels great. It’s a motocross bike with fantastic suspension and a rigid chassis. I’m only 145 lbs, so it’s sprung like a race bike for my weight. Running AC-10s on mine, too. Great tire in the dirt and still surprisingly good in the street. Stock IRC tires are worthless in the dirt. Like being on an ice rink with tennis shoes. Really good in the street but that’s not what you bought the bike for. Change the stock chain. It’s also worthless, makes noise, links bind, etc. I put a DID ERVT X ring and am very pleased. Enjoy!
