Matt Dial Posted Wednesday at 09:40 PM Just purchased a 2016 kx450 and noticed the front sprocket cover area is damaged. My question is should I try and get bolts and cover back on there considering they are damaged on the engine? I don’t want to replace it and make it worse if it breaks off again and then really be in trouble. Here’s some pictures to help. Thank you
Confederate My Rides (2) Posted Wednesday at 10:24 PM Ouch! Put studs in the hole after you clean and retap what is left of the threads. Bottom the studs in the hole with locktite then a little jb weld stick to replace the missing material. Use nuts to install case saver and trim studs flush. Otherwise new case side.
