chadzu My Ride Posted January 22 Yes, the fork legs are both 36mm. The '86 fork will slip right in. The big difference is that the '86 clamp has more aluminum used and is lighter. The '86 shock will bolt up no problem with the exception of the reservoir witch doesn't have the mount tab on the frame on the '01. Not a big problem.
