Washing Out ?

Recommended Posts

Here lately I’ve found myself washing out near the exit of the turn where it gets a little soft and muddy. I currently have a MX51 tire on the front and ride on Soft - Hard Clay depending on the conditions. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to help prevent this.

The mud of regular 'ol dirt and water is one thing, but that of water and clay soil is some of the slickest sh*t there is on track/trail.

If you're riding track, then after the first lap you know the mud is there. Me, I would try to avoid it, altering how I enter the corner, allowing me to pick a different line or even square off the corner. I think the consistency of success doing that would be greater than the consistency of successfully negotiating the mud with whatever technique you're trying. But then, I hate mud.
