Brody Batten My Rides (2) Posted Tuesday at 05:39 AM (edited) Here lately I’ve found myself washing out near the exit of the turn where it gets a little soft and muddy. I currently have a MX51 tire on the front and ride on Soft - Hard Clay depending on the conditions. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions to help prevent this. Trailryder42 Posted Tuesday at 08:57 AM The mud of regular 'ol dirt and water is one thing, but that of water and clay soil is some of the slickest sh*t there is on track/trail. If you're riding track, then after the first lap you know the mud is there. Me, I would try to avoid it, altering how I enter the corner, allowing me to pick a different line or even square off the corner. I think the consistency of success doing that would be greater than the consistency of successfully negotiating the mud with whatever technique you're trying. But then, I hate mud.
