2004 yz450f Kick starter issues

Hi everyone, I’ve been looking for a complete answer to this all over and haven’t been able to find it yet. I bought a 2004 yz450f from a guy for cheap with mostly a complete motor, but I’m having trouble with figuring out this 04 kick starter issue. I bought a used kick starter (since you can’t seem to find new ones anywhere for 04s) and it was a 5TA stamp on the side of it and the knuckle was considerably smaller than the shaft. After some research I’m seeing that there are different sizes since there were mechanical issues in mid year production that were changed? For this bigger spline, what part number do I need to get or is there anything that’s interchangeable? Any advice would be helpful.

It’s 19.5mm if anyone needs that answer, kick starters are available on Ebbay for like 60 bucks new and fit well. History not as important as the fix. See ya!
