XR/CRF50 Honda XR50 bent forks

    I have a 2001 Honda XR50. My front forks are bent, normal I know. I am hoping someone can recommend some good replacements. I was going to order OEM, but figure I will just rebend them. My nieces run it around, my nephew will be too when he gets big enough to ride a bike. I also tend to cruise it around, and tend to be a little tough on it ?  . I was going to go with a set of +1 forks. I don't really think the Amazon ones are worth wasting money on. I was thinking Billetware, but not in-stock.  Any other recommendations for an affordable, and durable set?

I know this doesn't answer your question, but I've straitened the stock tubes twice now on my kids' CRF50. They bend back pretty easy.

  I was hoping to come up with something a little stronger than oem.  I could straighten them temporarily though.  Do they rebend easier after, you straighten them?

On our bike, yes. But I don't think it has anything to do with the metal weakening. Pretty sure it has to do with my son riding the bike to it's limit!

You might want to try inserting a round stock steel rod with a screwdriver-like taper at one end to strengthen and reinforce the OEM legs.
