I still can't seem to get the canister off my fmf q to change the packing it just won't budge, the pipe side comes out right?

please help, my neighbors are F$$$$N A$$holes and i need to get my output down as much as possible and i bought this silent sport packing thats supposed to help a bit

i dont know if it was you but didnt you say that when you rode in your backyard, after the ride you asked your neighbord and they said they only heard the pitch? maybe they are jealous

Heat that sucker up. It probably has silcon sealant, like my PowerCoreIV did. Then, hit it with a rubber mallet. It worked for the guy at the shop I took it to ?

Na there just always home and always complain, even though I ride it like once a week for no more than an hour and this dude in back of me calls and says he never wants to hear it, which is like out of the question, so next time they complain, ill just be like im sorry i've done all I can possibly do

yz250F, i appreciate the instructions but they dont really help, i had my dad pull on one side and me on the other it won't move at all i even tried the suggested "tapping" to get it loose but it doesn't work

Well i didn't heat it up, but i did scrape the quick gasket along the outside? ? , could i use a torch lighter to do that?
