crf jetting question

james,just installed your kit,got no problem with it just wondered what effect moving the needle clip position has in relation to power ,still seems to be lacking on top end.

info

crf250 all stock apart from jd kit

ps very impressed with shop tt,got it within 5 days in the uk

The needle clip will affect the mid-throttle range and main jet near full throttle.

Running richer jetting will be more likely to give torque at lower rpm's and then be rich at high rpm's. If you are looking for top-end, try a leaner main jet, execting a tradeoff in the lower rpm torque.

(Jetting richens slightly with engine speeds at a steady throttle opening)
