What is a better stator?

I need to buy a new stator for my 02 crf450 DS. I had the ricky stator and 11oz flywheel but the 3 that were tried all had malfuntions. I have the electrex kit on my bike. Any recomendations on what stator to use would be great. Also if anyone has a stator for sale for my bike that would be great too. Thanks, NIck

try a custom wound stator from Baja Designs...they are making me a 130 dc/ 80 ac wind for my 650R-- Good company and they know there shiite.

I have a Moose 100w or 125w ? stator( I think it's mde by electrex?) I got from Dennis Kirk $225. It's a little more than having yours rewound, but no down time and I have a spare(stock) stator. So, far no probs with the Moose

I had my stator (XR650R) rewound by Baja Designs. Excellent company to deal with. Customer service is top notch.

My stator was also re-wound by Baja Designs. The whole process of mailing it and getting it back from them took about a week and the directions from them for re-installing it with their Dual Sport kit was good.

I had a baja designs light kit and stator rewind on my 03 crf450 last year and the damn thing would not keep a light in it I was luck to keep all the lights running for one day then one light would burn out either the head, tail or brake. The could never tell me what the prob was. Not to sure what the reason was but I would never use anything from them again. I have heard other people tell me the same about them.
