Chain guides (E vs S)

Recommended Posts

Can I use a 14/47 setup on my S without changing the chain guide ?

In other words, is the chain guide on my S the same one as the E, or is it shorter ?

Itll be fine. You only need to address the guide if you swap to a wider chain like an O ring type and even then it will swiftly clearance itself.

I hope so I've been running 14/47 for the last 2500 miles with no problems.
