Hinson cushion's

Recommended Posts

The Hinson people are great. Brian spent almost an entire day helping me with an issue one time. It turned out to be my fault. Nothing to do with his company at all. I figure that is the last time I hear from him. He then calls the next day to find outif the fix we discussed really fixed my bike. He wasted an entire day helping a nobody that would probably never have to buy anything more from him. I really appreciated that.

I hope his baby is ok.

The cushions provide the drive line with some resiliancy. When a spike of force is sent through the transmission, it is desireable to have something in the driveline that can "give" or dissipate that spike.

Notice in the past designs, many older dual-sport bikes have "cush-drive" hubs, or big rubber donoughts designed into the rear wheel between the drive sprocket and the actual hub. In reality, it makes transmissions last much, much, much longer. Hope this helps ?
