XR50 stock forks...what's the hot setup.

Recommended Posts

XR50 newbie here. I see pictures of guys racing with stock forks, and I know it's a common setup. Love to get some aftermarket forks, but no WAY my wife would go for it  What's the hot setup for the stock forks? I've got Applied racing springs and Delrin bushings, but I'm still not happy with the way they work. Still too much slop and clanking noise up front. Any advice?

Some +1 Chromo extenders are the only thing left. Sorry to break the news to ya but thats about as good as the stock fork setup gets. Heres what ya can do though, order you up some BBR SP5's or Sik50's forks, and have them shipped to a friends house and then go install them there and shell never know :devil:.

LOL! When she gets on the bike I can't get her off. Maybe I could buy HER the forks for valentines day. Hmmm...

Do the +1 extenders do anything appreciable for the bike other than raise it up a bit?
