am I too loud???

Recommended Posts

I just bought a 2001 wr426. It has a White Brothers, e-series pipe. I want to know If I'm too loud to ride in the forest. Is there an easy way to tell?

I certainly hope you are joking...

Wow, I hope so too! LOUD bikes are one of the major reasons for

Nah... he's a SoCal "rebel". He's gonna try to get away with making as much

noise as possible, then get us all kicked off the only land we still have.

Nice goin' Beavis.

I was just feeling him out to make sure he was joking. Again... I certainly hope he is and think he was joking.

As said before you will be over the limit. My brother has an YZ426 and he as the white pipe on it and we used a sound pressure meter from about 3 feet away idling and he was 104db. Don't know how many discs he had in.

My WR450 runs 102db with the stock pipe with no cork for a point of comparison.
