TT really slow

I was just going to start a thread about this! I like this site a lot, but it is SLOW. I have broadband and every other site I frequent is instant. But not here. I usually wait 10-15 seconds for each page to load on here!? Sometimes I just get frustrated and give up. Whats the deal?

It's really growing pains and being too popular. Bryan (or was it Brian?) did a write up and told about moving to software that will handle higher traffic volumes.

I don't think it's isolated to just the website.

Nearly two-weeks and I still don't have my fender stickers... I paid

online and didn't hear anything for a week until I emailed them.

The link at the top of every page says "ThumperTalk Graphics and

Fender Stickers Available NOW!"

If it's going to take 1.5-weeks before they're gonna ship 'em, fine.

Just be up front about it and when I ask how long, don't LIE to me.

Like I said in other threads, I like the price that I pay for TT so I

don't complain about the website speed.

I wonder if the new system is going to have the same "look and feel". I know a stock version of vbulletin looks similar to this site, but I wonder if it will "feel" the same. I have really taken a liking to how this site works over many of my other boards I frequent that use vbulletin. Should be nice with a speed boost.

On the other hand, I hope we don't have a two week outage again. I was goin crazy during the last upgrade when I couldn't get my fix. ?

BTW... I also had a problem with my fender stickers and e-mailed and they told me that they would ship them as soon as new envelopes were procured to ship them in. I guess the original ones would not work. My order says it shipped now.
