how fast?

Recommended Posts

Right off the showroom floor, my 230f does 65 with the 6th gear pegged...

BUT,

I took out the factory plug from the exhaust tip and removed the snorkle valve from the air intake...and I have not tinkered with jetting yet, she's lost about 10 mph.

With the right guts, hopefully she'll pull more.

Is that a new fangled break in plan, pin it and run it extra lean when it's brand new?

65 is the limit for a stock (but uncorked and rejetted) 230.

Mine will run to just about 80.

Naaaaaaaa...just a newb testing out the limits of her new machine.

I'll have to backtrack, though... lets say a few days off the showroom floor. :awww:

Gotta learn how to re-do the jetting, though... hence, my whole reason for joining this forum.

GREAT sticky thread thread on the how-to jetting, though!!
