ok on sunday morning I did go riding (sober) :D. Like ET said there are lots of trails up there - quite a bit of 4x4 access with dirt bike trail systems. I went for the easy safe route - checking out some local snowmobile parks. Even though the trails were wide and safe, it was too spooky riding out there alone, so I did not venture far. This was at tamarack sno-mobile park looking for the Brewer OHV trails just above Shaver lake.

Pretty area, lots of granite, and the soil was a mixture of sand and dirt. The place was empty. This was all the sno-mobile park at the entrance to the access road to an OHV trail system which I never got to - so naturally the place was empty.

and finally Shaver Lake from the road above.

Man would I love to, but after being gone last weekend on the "Broken Toe" there's no way I could get away for more than a local morning ride this weekend.

Have a great time, and try to keep track of the route so we can go back some time (or keep your roll chart).
