Just re-shimmed a friend's 450

I just re-shimmed a friend's 450 tonight. I don't like working on the 450 too much. They are way different than our nice, easy to work on 250s. So, don't complain about having to pull off the cam to replace the shims until you do it on a 450. Granted, not too difficult, just more of a pain to deal with the cam than it is on our bikes.

Anyways, he's had his bike just about the same amount of time I've had mine, since about November of last year, and he is having the same problems with the valves. All of his valves were fine except for the left intake. Of course, it was at zero. At least Honda knows how to spread the wealth among the different bikes with their little valve problem. ? Way to go Honda!

I reshimmed my 250 last night. Left intake also,

I went from a 195 to a 192. It was nice that I did not have to make a big jump in size.

I don't think it's harder than the 250. If anything it's easier except for the fact you have to take the cam sprocket off. And there's no cam caps or clips to lose.
