By-Pass Pipe and O-ring in R. crank case to water pump

I have read a lot of stuff on grey / milky tranny oil. I have the same problem. There is no fluid leaking from telltale hole. Radiator fluid seems to stay constant. Seems like the seals would be fine. It seems like this by-pass pipe and O-ring could be an issue. If anyone has heard of problems with this pipe let me know. Or am I just going through too much water? Time to move the breather tubes? Sorry this got so long thanks for any help.
