Fork Tube installation…

Recommended Posts

The factory manual says to insert the fork leg into the steering stem and top bridge and align the upper surface of the top bridge with the lower grove in the fork tube.

My situation is this. She feels like she does not track well or hold in the corners and wants to wash out. Would dropping the tubes down in the bridge as they call it ( aka triple clamps ) tend to make her stick better?

Any one change this setting or have any ideas?

Thanks

First check your rebound/compression. You could be off. Also, make sure your sag in back is set correctly. This makes a huge difference.

Then, yes, you can drop it down until its flush with the fork caps. I, personally, keep mine at the third mark, and I ride super tight trails. It never wants to wash more than any other bike.
