Anyone lower the 230 a couple of inches?

Recommended Posts

A koubla lowering link will lower the rear 2" and does not affect the suspension. You can also put the regular link back on if you ever need to.

Here it is: Kouba Link

Lowers the rear 2". In the front you can slide the forks up 1 inch in the clamps.

Bronco78 has done it.

I am 5'2" so I had my seat foam cut out about 2 inches (this cost me $50CAD). The upholsterer put a thin layer of softer padding on top so it is still comfortable. I also had my front forks raised 1.5" in the triple clamp and had the rear sag adjusted to match (my bike shop did this for free in about 5 min.). This allowed me to easily reach the ground while I got used to the bike. Now that I am comfortable on the bike, I have the suspension raised back up to full. These are probably the easiest, cheapest, and quickest ways to solve your problem.
