For Posting Pictures On This Forum.. DO THIS!!

Recommended Posts

To host your pictures go this website http://www.photobucket.com/ and sign up for a free account there.

Then to get your picture on the forum copy the url of the picture eg. (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v456/dalewaynesmith/dales_crf250x_01.jpg) then when posting a message there is a little menu next to the "Instant Graemlins" called "Instant UBB Code" and under that menu click in the link "Image" then it will pop-up with a input box asking for your image location then simply paste the address that you had copied before eg.(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v456/dalewaynesmith/dales_crf250x_01.jpg) and thats how you post a picture

I think this post should be saved at the top of this forum. Too many people come in and ask how to do it or do it wrong.

Great post

Is anyone else having trouble getting into photobucket this morning? It seems like their server is down unless they've just decided to delete my album.

as far as i know imagestation does not allow hotlinking where as photobucket does and photobucked resises all your pictures to 250k so that we dont have massive pictures blocking up the load time of the forum

image resizer tool for XP, it's free  :

If you have XP go to http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx and download/install (only 521k) "image resizer". It works great. Once it's loaded all you have to do is right click on a saved image & there will be a "Resize Pictures" option. You have the the option to have it duplicate or replace the current image.

Have fun!

For some reason, I just don't see the "Instant UBB Code" next to the Graemlins. I had no trouble posting pics before the upgrade...now I can't seem to do it. There isn't anything next to the Graemlins.....

I agree, I have never seen a forum I could not post pics on but none of the ways I know seem to work here. All it does is link. I have tried . . [iMAGE] and so on amd nothing is working, kind of irritating.

I did just notice on the list of things you can and can't do in the lower left portion of every page, that it said I MAY NOT post attachments. Is this why I can't get pics to post?
