Fuel requirements for oversize Wiseco piston?

I am installing a .080" oversize +1.2 CR piston in my 03 YZ250F. Wiseco says that it can be run with pump gas, but they were not specific about what octane should be used.

I've run the locally available 91-92 octane non-oxygenated pump gas in the 250F w/ a +.75CR standard bore Wiseco piston w/ excellent results.

I was wondering what are you current 262cc owners using for fuel? In your opinions, is the 92 octane pump gas going to do the job?

Hey if I was you I would run 96 octane or higher in that bike they just plain run better...but dont run over 100 octane otherwise it will run phat. Ive ran 92 non oxygented in my bike and 100 octane which I currently use.. and man it is a night and day difference between the two. By the way I am also from Minnesota. ?

Joe - You shouldn't run into any problems with knock using that fuel and the Wiseco setup.
