I would guess Gary Semics.

Famous for being him and knowing a whoooole lot more about bike riding than we do.

Is that a silencer or a soda can on the end of the pipe?

Nice drum brakes. I haven't seen those since I looked at my XR200R.

And we have a winner,,,,,,,

Yes Gary Semics, easily mistaken for Jimmy Wienert as they rode identical Factory KX250's. This was the Trans-AMA and Weinerts bike was #1 casue he was the US 500 Champ that year. (I'm sure Gary would beg to differ that he was the much better looking of the two)

I would say Gary is most famous for his training techniques and working with Motocross champions as there personal trainer, particuarly Jeremy McGrath comes to mind.

As far as what he is doing now that is very close to you he is the on-line moderator for the MX riding technique forum on THUMPER TALK.COM

(I hope he sees this thread.)

Kent Howerton

Although Kent did ride a Kawasaki towards the end of his career, he was on a Husky at this point. (and no, thats not him.) Thanks for playing, collect your door prize on the way out.

I don't remember Jimmy Wienert's hair ever being that long.

And yes, I was understating Gary Semic's accomplishments.

BC3 is Bill Caldera (sp?) aka BC.

Local SF Bay Area racer. His friends include Dick Mann and Brad Lackey.
