new crf 250r 05

o got my bike on friday and took it up to clearlake on saturday to break it in.all i can say is this bike rips!im 6'1 235 and this bike was moving my fat @$$ al over the place.i didnt want to get off of it.except for my backside was tellin me to get off.this bike has more than enuf power for me, im goin to keep it stock except for a new exhaust system.i been reading about all the valve problems people were having, i just hope i broke it in right.ill cross my fingers.

Congradulations! I also just got my '05 today and i was concerned about the power compared to my 450, that concern is now gone. I am very surprised at how much poop this little 250 has. I really hate the seat, my ass hurts just sitting on it ?

THANX!I WILL AGREE THE SEAT AINT WORTH A NICKEL.I ONLY RODE FOR 90 MINS AND MY BUTT WAS KICKED!I WAS SURPRISED HOW FAST THE BIKE WAS EVEN WITH MY WEIGHT.I CANT WAIT TIL THIS WEEKEND.SITTING HERE @ WORK IS KILLING ME WHEN I GOT THAT LIL BEAST IN MY VAN OUTSIDE WAITING ON ME.

Thats funny because alot of the MX mags are saying the CRF has one of the best seats in motocross ?

that magazine aint rode the crf for 90 mins!the seat aint @%!!.

You got that right throttlejockey both my KTMs were hard on the bum ? but it made you stand up. Cannot see a Honda seat being close to a KTMs for being hard. ?

my seat "broke in" after the first ride or 2. and just fyi... i just put the jd jet kit in mine and rode it last weekend - noticeable difference!

Gee Wiz! Sorry guys! I was comparing the feel to my moose tall soft seat on my '02 450. It is nice and soft and worn in, i am sure after a few hours my new 250 seat will feel better but for now it is FIRM!
