250X Sag/fork hgt/clickers

Recommended Posts

Curious in regards to what 250X owners set their static sag, fork hgt and fork compresion. I set mine up at the following:

Reduced fork compression by 2 clicks

Raised fork tubes .5" for tighter turning

Set the rear STATIC sag (bike under own weight) to .75" for tighter turning.

What has worked for you?

I went thru the set up just like in the manual and it seems great to me. If you weigh over 190 lbs you would really need stiffer springs to be set up properly.

When I first bought my X off eBay the first owner had messed with the settings. When I first rode the bike without dialing in the suspension on a local track it would not turn right and felt very unstable. I then went over the set up in the manual. Yesterday I went back to the same track for the first time. Worlds better and I could throw it in the turns like it was meant to be. The bike sucked up the whoops to the point that I was amazed. This thing has some great suspension once you dial it in properly.
