Front end alignment?

Recommended Posts

This last weekend I laid down my bike on its right side in some sand. I wasnt going very fast; I was able to stay on me feet as it went over. When I brought it back up, the front wheel was angled to the left when the handle bars were straight. I held the tire with my knees and straightend it out again, but I'm not sure if its back to normal. It tracks straight, but the suspensions feels like it catches at the top (when the forks are fully extended). My question is, how do you check to make sure the forks are straight? Is there something loose which would have allowed this to happen?

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

do not ride your bike.

your triple clamps are WAY too loose.

this is a major accident waiting to happen.

if you don't get hurt you will bend your forks ($$$).

open up your manual and grab a proper torque wrench.

info on aligning the forks can be found via a search on "forks" or "glass".
