Dunlop D756/D739 or /K695??????

Recommended Posts

Have a 04 crf 450 and ride hard packed trails in Southern California. Which tire is harder and would last longer under those conditions? I would also like to go from a 110 to a 120 does anybody see a problem with that? I may also change the sidewall with a 100 vice the stock 90 any associated problems there? Thank you for your help again.

The D756 tire is a hard tire to beat.it does great is everything. That is the only tire i run. And i live in Nor Nevada where we have sand tracks, loomy, and hard pack.

If you're running on hard packed trails, go with the 739 combo. It won't wear out or chunk off like the 756. For loam or soft stuff, go with the 756. I'd even try an 18 inch rear for trails and a 20 inch front to get that wide tread for the trails.

If you want to try a longer lasting tire try the Maxxis.

$43.00,it wears like iron and hooks up well.

Get the rear only the front doesn't track as well.

Just for info, the Maxxis 6001 is a directional tire, get the other model IT which may be labled strictly IT.

Also, a tire that grips the best on hardpack is a softer tire...it has great traction, but wears like a eraser.

So there is a trade off, I found a happy medium with the Maxxis.
