A ttr-225, yeah I know it sucks but oh well. The only dirbike thats listed locally. Not really the only one, theres a cr 500 listed but I dont want that one, too much power. Me and dad are going to look at it tomorrow morning and buy it. 2003 model for $1,800, comes with a loading ramp and a couple other things, probably a service manual and something else. Anyways while I have that bike and come across a good xr250 I'll see if they would trade.

The TT-R 225 is not bad, but are you sure those two bikes are the only ones in your area? have you checked Cycle Trader ?

Good luck with the bike!

Don't just run out and buy the first bike you come across just to have a bike. Take your time, shop around, you'll find some good buys out there if you look. Bike companies are giving new bikes away with 0 down, 0 int, so used bikes sales are taking a beating, it a buyers market for used bikes so look around before you buy.

I swear to you just settle for the first bike out there, in 6 months you'll be looking for a new one because you wont be happy with what you had bought.

Yeah but my dad doesn't want to travel anymore than 30 miles to pick up a dirtbike.

I know, but its just so hard to find a good used dirtbike where I live. So many people around that only owns quads, in the paper theirs only two dirtbikes avertized and 5 quads that are also in the paper right now. My friends kept sugesting me to get a quad and I keep telling them "HELL NO!!" I'll be ok with the 225, atleast I wont be on the computer so much, being bored and looking at porn all the time.

I'll keep an eye out for a better bike at the about the same value and see if they'll trade.
