YZ250 Case Cracked

I took my YZ out the other day. I lost the chain tensioner on one side. The tire was wiggling somehow the chain dug into my side casing and it leaked the oil out. How can I fix with out buying a new case?

last year i had a rock get wedged in between my chain and case creating a hole on my '03 yz 250. i used JB weld 2 fill the void. i sold the bike but i talk 2 the owner and its held ever since w/out leaking. make sure u clean up the edges of the hole w/ a dremmel or sand paper 2 give the JB something 2 bite.

I had my chain slap my case and crack it. I had it fixed by an aluminum welder for $20.

My dad welds for living. Damn I must be lucky easy fix I hope. After he welds it i'll clean and put some JB weld on it just to be safe

well one time on the 150/230 forum sum dude who was a major noob cracked open his case and he just a bought a new one (what a lil gurl) i mean you should at least try to fix it first ?
