Suspension Setting

Recommended Posts

I race motocross 250B class, and i believe my suspension is holding me back some i just ride a stock bike, motor is fine but suspension needs something. I weigh 160-165, does anyone have a good setting for that combo, Race sag, Rebound, Compression.I would like to keep my stock suspension if possible. Thanks

If you are a weekly (say 2x or more) racer/rider, you should look into having your suspension serviced every 3-4 months. It makes a HUGE difference. A bike that is on 6 month old suspension fluids will literally feel like it has had a revalve after a service. Relace the slider bushings and/or seals as needed and the suspension will always feel fresh and work like it is supposed to. Many riders have a year old bike revalved because "it isn't working so good" when many times all it needed was some fresh oil!!!

It's the first thng you should do if you have 6 months or more on your bike. Mine is going to my buddy Don once I get back into the swing of things, for a fresher upper.
