I'm thinking of what kinda exhaust muffler I want on it. My dad doesn't want me to put an aftermarket muffler on it, (he thinks it'll make the bike less reliable) I want to get some more power and speed out of it. I bet it is so restricted now (in stock condition) cause the exhaust exiting the muffler is kinda cool, even when the engine is hot.

I need some speed out of this fat bike.

An aftermarket muffler should not make your bike less reliable, although it might make it louder, depending on which you get... I could be wrong...

Huh, my brother kept telling me it would.

I'd like to hear his explanation of how a muffler, air filter, or rejetting would affect the timing.

An over restrictive muffler should be hotter than a normal one. When the stock exhaust baffle is in the WR450, the end can is roasting. Much better without it. Anybody correct me if i'm wrong.
