You should just measure the original, but I think it is 5mm (square) and 15mm long.

I made my own from keystock that I got at McMaster.com. It was 5mm, but a tiny bit oversize, so I carefully sanded it down a couple thou to get a nice tight fit. If you make one from scratch, be sure you use a quality steel alloy, otherwise you may soon end up right back where you started, with a mashed key.

Just built 3 made some extras

they are exactly

.196 square by

.388 long

used keystock

these are nice and snug

BUT while I was building these I noticed a crack in my balencer drive gear :D ?

called my dealer who doesn't have one(of course)

called yamaha in calf. they also do not have any...

(they are on backorder)

(wonder why?)
