You will need stiffer springs. Approx. .48 up frt. & 5.6 or 5.8 in the rear. A well designed mid-valve installed into this fork works is the hot set-up.

Are the mid valves hard to install? Where can I get them and about what do they cost? I didnt want to dump $700 to have the forks revalved but if I can make them better for less cash I am on board...

I have .48 springs and am going to install in the next day or so (shock spring installed, thanks!). Mine is an '03 Kicker.

These forks have just a check plate for a midvalve. You have to design your own midvalve set-up. If you have a good assortment of shims its not real hard to install them. The hardest part is doing all the testing to come up with a stack that works.
