04 yz250f 185lbs..

Any tips on suspension setup, except setting sag? Maybe the original springs might be a bit soft for me?

I'm 185lbs and a intermediate rider i guess.. not a amateur and far from a pro..

I have the same bike. I went from a .44 springs in the front to a .46 After I took it to pro action and had the whole re valve it was gobsss better. But anyways thats all i did to mine and it is much better now. :cry:

I am the same weight and took mine to Enzo. They put .44's in front and .49 in back, then revalved both (subtanks on forks. I thought that stock was .44's but they insisted that stock was .43's.

Also, according to Enzo, some tuners go heavier on springs and lighter on valving and some do the opposite.

Before you go spending $$$ on springs add 15ml of 2.5wt oil to each fork Thats about a 5mm hieght adjustment. It made the world of differnce for me. no more bottoming but still as plush as a sumos gut.
