Recommended Posts

i went to clean my air filter today for the fifth or so time and when i took it offf i noticed that the foam that your supposed to grease that seals it to the airbox was rotted away. &%$#@!? Is this normal? i was using regular lithium grease. Hopefully itll last two mroe weekend of riding. thanks

I read where prolonged use of gasoline to clean filters will help the aging process of the foam. Just a thought.

mine did that too! thats okay though cuz the stock filter is junk. I think it is because when you fall, some fuel goes back through the carb and onto the filter, and that can eat the filter. no biggie, just get a uni, or a twinair
