break-in retorquing?

Recommended Posts

As im doing a little maintenance on my bike today i realized i never really went over the bike and tightened everything up. I lubed the forks and changed oil, tightened chain and spoked, and all that stuff. But i never went and tightened "front wheel axle nd nut, rear brake disc, rear shock absorber and relay arm" and all the other parts that have an ^ arrow on pages 2-15 and so on in the manual. Does anyone bother doing this? Just wondering if im wasting my time or not if i do it.

I usually go over everything before and after each ride. I don't want to be the guy pushing his bike back to camp.
