Jetting after coast enrichener removed

It's time to remove the octopus from the side of my carb.I am looking for sugestions for the jetting.

01 kicker,lid off,full yosh,jd jet kit,alt 6000-8000.

when I took off my CE I went to this setting.

165 main

40 pilot (was 38 at first, switched to 40)

PAS 5/8 turn out (pilot air screw)

JD blue needle 3rd clip

fuel screw 2.5 turns out

This is good for me at lower altitudes, since you are at higher altitude you may want to lean it some.

burned would know better, but thats my setup.

You'll need to wait for burned to check in, but removing the CE generally means to go to a 38 pilot jet.

keep in mind I have the stock exhaust and ride from sea level to about 8,000 ft. so this is the best compromise so that I don't have to change jetting for each area. If I did most riding at sea level I'd go to a larger main.

155 main

40 pilot

2-2.5 turns fuel screw

1/2 turn pilot air screw

JD blue on clip 3

airbox lid gone

Had some hesitation with the 38 pilot then switched to 40 and it was GONE!

Thanks guys you both are real close to the same jetting.The great one(Burned) rides the same alt I do.If he dont chime in I will start with your set up :cry:
