Burned.... USD fork question?

Recommended Posts

I am in the process of buying a DRZ and I have a chance to buy a set of USD forks off a former GNCC bike from Team Suzuki, are they worth the hassle? Or are the conventional forks good enough for the masses? My last DRZ, an '00 model E, had the stock forks revalved and they worked great so is the tradeoff worthwhile? Thanks for any input!

I'm sure Burned will chime in with this reply: "USD forks are good but revalved stock is great as long as you have the E forks (or 02 and newer S), Why mess with what works."

I have USD forks off a RM that have been revalved and sprung for my weight and riding style (SM) with TAG 22.5 offset triples.
