I would go as long as it is central and as long as there is a mx track.

I believe you would have a better turnout if you were to have regional TT Jamborees. West Coast/east coast or something along those lines.

Agreed with the regional thing. The mid-west is just too far away. A mid-west and mid-east would be the trick.

I would like to, but my vacation time and funds are limited so I have

to choose my riding trips carefully.

Hmm...TT Mid-west gathering, 5 days in Moab, TT Mid-west gathering,

5 days in Moab...

Sorry guys but if I gotta choose it's gotta Moab.

Just tossed a few out, Im sure central US is most fair considering

travel for those in North America. Id eventually like to ride farther

east myself. BTW I threw in TC's house as a joke, I dont think he has

room for 500...

I like Moab and Vegas, and would probably hit both & some of Colorado

if I was making a trip that way. I voted for Moab even though I love Vegas...!!!

Have you seen the acres of lawns he has... can you spell tent city...?  and we can grab a couple of feral pigs from the bush, some pineapples/bananas and have a cook-up...

BTW, the island is closer for me...

This made me picture TC riding 2up with a wild boar strapped to his back.

Your right, maybe he does have room for a tent city...!!!

JL,

I'm sure you run into the same thing also, you have to prod  the hell outta people to get them to do anything!

With such enthusiam as many TT'rs have to ride, you'd think :thinking:there would be talk all over the place. I guess I just make the S/SE TT ride a "big" event as your WCTT ride and we'll make them all jealouos

Don

Although it may be a lot of work, it would be awesome if we could have a gathering for tt'ers in every state. We should pick a date and for every state pick a location where all the fans could go. It would be sick.

"I don't prod people I embark them on a deeper journey into enlightenment".

So in other words you show them how to pull their head outta their ass!

So you feel like helping this get moving (I know you have some personal issue your dealing with now, as well as I do) or should we let it go and see what becomes of the thread?

Don

As of now the informal poll is a 9 - 9 split on Moab & Colorado, with

a second place tie of 5 each between Vegas & anywhere farther East.

I like the idea of each state having an event on the same

weekend. A big national yearly event should maybe go to a vote

with a few central locations to pick from or the owners should

make it Vegas since TT is based there...?

Who are the 4 that voted for Kansas? Thats just wrong...

Regional events already are in place, so to speak.

Last year we held the 1st Annual TT Hillbilly Trail Ride at Hatfield~McCoy Trail System, some 10 States or so was well within striking distance. We had 20 something riders from a good number of those states.

The 2nd Annual TT Hillbilly Trail Ride is in the works.

All who attended had a good time.

We hope to improve the ride this year as a result of what we learned last year.

The ride will most likely be in July like last year, stay tuned, the announcement will most likely go up in January 2005 so riders can plan their vacations accordingly.
