Swamped!!!

Recommended Posts

Well, Yesterday I was riding some new trails through a power line. Most of the power lines near me are partially made up of small creeks and swampy terrain. I should have known better, but couldn't resist riding this trail.

Anyway, as I was thumping through this swamp, my rear tire sunk 3/4 of the way down a mud whole completly engulfing it.

I had to dig for about a 1/2 to clear the mud but still couldn't rev her out. So I flipped her on her right side and dragged her out to drier land.

I'm concerned that my exhuast swallowed some mud as I was dragging her out. She started right up without any hesitation and durring the ride home she was fine except for being covered from head to toe in mud.

My question is, should I go and completly pull the exhuast off, header and all and clean it?

Dave

If the bike started right up...I would think it's fine. once running...anything moisture or what not in the pipe should be burnt or blow out.

It's another story if you think your air filter inhaled some liquid.
