shift lever

Recommended Posts

I broke my shift lever on a rock (tried to bend it back and it snapped). I was 5 miles out on slick rock in Maob. Second gear was my friend.

Any know of any aftermarket steel shift levers that perhaps are not so fragile?

Hammerhead makes a great shift lever with various sizes available for bigger feet.

I've had a look at the hammerhead site, but the only appear to do shifter tips, not a complete lever?

I have also bent mine all up and am in the same situation.

Be careful with the steel shifters. If you put one on, be sure to check the bolt often. I've seen people have trouble with the teeth on the shaft getting all rounded off because the steel shifter got loose and wiggled around.

Okay that worked, I never clicked the link as it was titled XR50.

I've now ordered one, so look forward to trying it.

Will also keep an eye on the bolt tightness!

Go to the home page, take a look on the right hand of the page at the XR 50 shifter. In the same box there is a link that has "to honda order page>>". Click here and scroll up for all the Honda models
