Does anybody know how much HP the stock XR400 puts out?

30ish. Its more of a torque monster. Though DB mag says with the 440 kit it makes 44hp. So who knows. As long as its fast I dont care. ?

stock is 28 at the engine about 23 to the ground.....uncorked and running it's best on the Dyno is right at 32~34hp to the ground with a street tire on. That would be about 36~37hp at the engine? Mikuni TM36 pumper and we got 36Hp on the dyno. Hope to get the Edelbrock on the Dyno before the end of the month....this is a stock engine with 1200 miles of track, street and trail.....XR's only megaphone muffler 12 disks, stock headers with the weld ground out, Uni air filter, Air box door opened up.... stock carburetor...62 pilot, 172 main, Needle in the middle or fourth clip down, Air jet cut off dissabled, choke flap removed. Mikuni was 17.5 pilot, 9eby1-50 needle mid clip, P8 needle jet, 0.9 air jet, 130 main.
